Everything was good, fab location in the heart of the city, the stuff where exceptional! The breakfast offered plenty of food and was adequate and great. Would be happy to recommend because I truly enjoyed it and did not want to leave there.

I enjoyed the beautiful view from my room, overlooking the scenic mountains and the charming town.

Unfortunately, the bathroom lighting was automatic.

Perfect for couples seeking charm

The staff was really helpful, especially Ursula. The breakfast had a solid selection, and I could feel the effort they put into it.

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but the experience made it worth the expense.

The location in the heart of Oberammergau really caught my attention. I enjoyed the spacious double room, complete with a fine balcony view of the surrounding mountains. Breakfast each morning offered a wide variety of options. Although the overall design of the hotel feels historical and charming, some interior elements looked a bit dated. I also noticed the restaurant was closed , disappointing since I had hoped to enjoy a meal without venturing out. The staff members were helpful with local dining suggestions. The lack of air conditioning did make the warmer days a bit uncomfortable. Despite these minor inconveniences, the warm atmosphere and ideal location were good.

The hotel was absoluteley charming, but the automatic bathroom lights were just a waste of power. And good luck sleeping with church bells ringing every 15 minutes-if I'd been treated with more respect, I woudl ve been given a complimentary upgrade to compensate for the noise. Disappointed is an understatement. I nearly gave a good review but just couldn't.
